Love Potion No. 218 has been described as alluring, addicting, romantic, intriguing, mysterious, and hypnotic! This aphrodisiac blend contains organic vanilla, dark patchouli, blood orange, wild cobaiba balsam, and wild orange and simply put...it is a beautiful expression of what an authentic essential oil blend should be.
We use authentic organic vanilla CO2 extract in our Love Potion No. 218. Our Vanilla CO2 extract is produced by using hand pollinated organic vanilla beans from the Vanilla planifolia plant. Liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) is utilized as the solvent in this process. When the CO2 is returned to its gaseous state, the pure, natural compounds present in the vanilla beans, including 12% Vanillin, are retained in the aromatic CO2 extract. This fragrance is one of universal appeal because of the influence it has on the emotions – it invites sensuality, relaxes inhibitions, and dissolves anger and frustration. 1,2
Vanilla is well-known for its tendency to ‘bloom’ when added to compositions, meaning its aroma increases over time. This 'bloom' makes each bottle of Koru's Love Potion No. 218 even more unique. Bottle variation in general when using authentic oils is not only likely, but expected and even encouraged. This indicates that you are in fact working with an authentic essential oil as aromas and constituents will vary from one harvest to the next. Expect the aroma of Love Potion No. 218 to evolve and captivate.
