Koru Essential Oils Jasmine
Notes From The Koru Oils Lab™ -
Jasmine is an absolute powerhouse of an oil on the emotions and psyche. This particular Jasmine comes from Egyptian flowers harvested before dawn. Part of the mystic of Jasmine is that the flowers actually offer a more fragrant aroma at nighttime than they do during the day. In order to capture this essence, harvest happens when the flowers are at their peak, or by the light of the moon. The precious oil is then solvent extracted from the delicate and aromatic flowers. Not all Jasmine is harvested at night, but in our experience, only the full potential of the fragrance is captured in those that are.
Considered an aphrodisiac, Jasmine is among the principal ingredients of more than 80% of all quality perfumes and a third of all men’s fragrances.1 Jasmine is often used as a devotional anointing oil and is worn for blessings, protection, and good luck.2
