Palo Santo Smudge Sticks
Koru's Palo Santo is a sacred tool that is often used in spiritual practices to clear negativity from a space much in the way that white sage and sweetgrass are used.
The haunting aroma that is released when lit is rich and warming. You may notice notes of sap, resin, balsamic, damp forest floor, toasted barrels, anise, and baked lemon.
Another name for Palo Santo is "holy wood" so you can imagine the power that this plant holds for us.
This ethically harvested Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) can be burned by lighting one end of the stick, wait a few moments, then blow out the flame so that only the embers and smoke remain. Fan lightly to keep smoldering, the smoke will release the aromatic scent. Extinguish in sand or water.
Use alone or with Koru's Sweetgrass or White Sage Hydrosols for a more profound experience.
