Summer Vibes does contain phototoxic ingredients, as it contains true whole fruit extracts of both distilled lime and bergamot, which means if applied to the skin it can react with the sun and cause damage, therefore topical application and sun exposure is not recommended. Some companies choose to avoid phototoxic oils that are distilled rather than expressed but the aromas can be muted. Koru works with both distilled and expressed citrus oils.
