Koru Essential Oils Clary Sage
Notes From The Koru Oils Lab™ -
Koru's Clary Sage has an exotic aroma that many find euphoric. Clary Sage oil is used for health issues common to women.1 Thought of in many cultures to be an aphrodisiac, the herb was used to replace hops in beer and was added as an aromatic to counterfeit muscatel wine.2 The German name for Clary Sage is Muskateller salbei (Muscatel Sage).3 Linalyl acetate, the ester form of linalool, has been demonstrated in human studies to promote calm and relaxation, particularly for women suffering from PMS.4 (We here at Koru can absolutely attest to this. The effects that Clary Sage can have on lessening menstrual cramps when diluted in Jojoba oil and applied to the abdominal area during menstruation is why we added it is part of our "Alchemist's Choice Set" and why we make this one in a roll-on version).
